About the 2026 Baltimore Breathwork Facilitator Training Cou

ReVIEW By Graduate Liz Doda '25

Attending Baltimore Breathwork classes at various times over the last couple years has always been incredible, but being part of Liz's facilitator training took it to a whole other level. It was honestly one of the most meaningful and powerful experiences I’ve had.

Liz teaches with so much heart and a ton of knowledge. Her background as a school teacher is an incredible takes her training ability to the next level. The way she breaks things down is so digestible and clear, while still leaving space for exploration. The training was organized, informative, and FUN. It had structure, but never felt rigid. It was a personal journey just as much as it was a professional one, extremely well thought out and structured while also simultaneously a personal journey full of depth and true exploration

What stood out most was how supported I felt the entire time. You leave with tools, experience, confidence, and, maybe the best part, a community of people you have connected with in such an authentic way. Liz really respects everyone’s autonomy and unique voice. She teaches her way but encourages you to find your own style and truth.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your personal healing or want to become a facilitator, this training is so worth it. If you’re feeling called to it, go! Baltimore Breathwork is the space where you want to be.

OVERVIEW

The 2026 Baltimore Breathwork and Sound Healing Facilitator Training Course offers a transformative journey for those seeking to guide others in the profound practices of breathwork and sound healing. Rooted in diverse traditions and anchored by the teachings of psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, this training integrates spiritual, psychological, and somatic healing modalities to provide a well-rounded foundation for aspiring facilitators.

WHAT IS BALTIMORE BREATHWORK?

Baltimore Breathwork is a powerful, active meditation technique where participants bypass the thinking mind into a transformative state of altered consciousness without the use of any substances. Sound healing uses crystal sound bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chimes to realign the chakra system. Most participants leave a session feeling lighter, and more connected to their authentic selves.

PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS

A distinctive feature of this training is its foundational emphasis on the work and philosophy of Viktor Frankl. Drawing inspiration from his seminal text, Man’s Search for Meaning, participants will explore Frankl’s ideas on finding meaning amidst suffering, resilience in the face of loss, and the capacity for healing after trauma. Frankl’s journey, surviving four concentration camps and the loss of his entire family, shapes much of the training’s approach. His inspirational life and teachings form the backbone of the course’s intention: to empower facilitators to help others alleviate depression and rediscover purpose in their daily life.

INTEGRATED TECHNIQUES AND TRADITIONS

The curriculum introduces students to an array of healing traditions and tools:

· Hindu Chakra-Based Frameworks: students will learn about the chakra system and learn to identify blocks in the chakra system.
