Group Class Description
At a Baltimore Breathwork group class, each participant lies on a yoga mat and covers with a blanket. Liz curates the breathwork portion of class to rock-n-roll, funk, pop, and other eclectic and fun music. In a signature class there is an opportunity to make a scream or a big noise. Towards the end of the breathwork portion, the music often becomes geared towards a deeper experience often culminating in a sound bath.
Each class is a unique experience and no two are the same. Baltimore Breathwork group classes are a hybrid of breathwork and sound healing. Breathwork is a powerful, active meditation technique for self-healing where participants bypass the thinking mind and learn to connect to life on a more intuitive level. Sound healing uses crystal sound bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chimes to realign the mind, body, and soul. Combining breathwork with beautiful vibrational sounds brings balance and harmony to the body and is a powerful way to cultivate a sense of well-being. Most participants leave a session feeling lighter, and more connected to their authentic self.
THE MISSION
Elizabeth Bardelli, Ed.S. is a healing artist who works within her community co-creating shifts as both a coach and a group facilitator. Working with the lens that we are here to have a human experience to become more of who we really are, Liz creates sessions weaving breathwork and other heart opening modalities to move stuck energy freeing you to connect with your intuition: to guide you towards your higher self.
Baltimore Breathwork's mission is to help clients apply self-love to the places within themselves that need healing. With breathwork coaching a client clarifies goals and identifies energetic obstacles and to move stuck energy and feel more like his/her true self. Healer, teacher, and guide Elizabeth Bardelli, Ed.S., has spent over three decades in service helping others to live their best lives. Her hero and inspiration Viktor Frankl said, “Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life; everyone must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment.” Liz dedicated over 20 years to building creative learning opportunities for urban youth within an ever-changing educational construct, simultaneously pursuing advanced academic degrees with the goal of creating an environment where students could thrive while learning to make empowering choices using independent thinking.
After a life-altering cancer illness Liz was grateful that through the experience of walking through this trauma, then dealing with post-traumatic-stress-disorder, she immersed herself into different wellness practices as a seeker. Liz found that her own experience with healing her own trauma heightened her ability to channel her intuition and empathy to help others. Her journey as a student of best wellness practices crystalized when her gift as a healer metamorphasized into Baltimore Breathwork. She feels fortunate every day that she gets to help hundreds of folks each year to live their best lives.
As a sentient and creative healing artist, Liz channels a grace that is her, but not her, tapping into universal energy and light to help others get unstuck in their lives so that they can experience a life of ease and flow. You may sign up for a group session or choose to work with her one-on-one.
Biography Short and Sweet:
Elizabeth Bardelli holds a Master of Science Degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a post-graduate degree from The University of Notre Dame of Maryland in the field of education. A fun, creative, and compassionate educator Elizabeth chose to leave the classroom and study under David Elliott, renowned Los Angeles breathwork healer. After studying and becoming certified to teach David's breathwork, she then founded Baltimore Breathwork in 2018 developing her own craft. She still spends time each summer in Los Angeles attending events given by her sound hero, Guy Douglas, and trainings hosted by her peers in the breathwork circuit. Liz also employs techniques from laughter yoga, guided meditation and imagery, and a generous use of positive affirmations in her classes and private sessions.
I am so happy that I stumbled upon this practice 6 months ago. I always leave class feeling lighter, more grounded, and positive. It's the one hour a week I am able to commit 100% of my attention to myself. Recently I took a break from the practice after attending regularly for months (life gets in the way). I was finally able to attend another session and when I left I felt like myself for the first time in months! I was able to rid myself of the negative energy I didn't even know I had built up.
I just can't say enough great things about this practice. And Liz is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. If you're hesitant about trying it, just go for it! You won’t regret it.
Ahhh-mazing! I went to the class on Saturday and really enjoyed it. From the relaxation to rebel yell and laughter, it all felt so freeing. Liz is the best! I highly recommend.

Liz has a talent for making people feel simultaneously at peace and invigorated during her breathwork class. The way I feel during this experience is the same way I felt when I reached the top of La Bufa in Mexico - powerful, amazed, and overall grateful. I highly recommend that you don’t just try out the class, but make it a part of your life like I did. You’re doing yourself a favor.
I can not say enough about the experience I had at my first class on Saturday. It was moving and emotional and really opened my eyes to some things I have had stored away under lock and key. As I am learning to navigate my way through a new cancer diagnosis, I think the soundbath is just what I need to help me dig deep and release clutter that is holding me back. I truly felt different afterwards and things Elizabeth spoke of are ringing through my head since. I can’t wait to go back and see where it leads me. Thank you so much, Elizabeth! ❤️❤️❤️
“It’s like a sauna for your soul” -my thoughts today when walking out of class
I attended another great breathwork healing workshop with Elizabeth on Saturday. In this session I worked really hard on releasing fear, affirming my inner strength and sense of worth, and feeling joy. I was able to achieve these things and left feeling happier, more confident, and at peace with myself.
I attended a Baltimore Breathwork session yesterday and it was incredibly powerful and healing. I arrived carrying the pain of a recent breakup, fear and sadness over our nation's political situation, and struggling in the early stages of alcohol recovery and toll that cigarettes are taking on my health. The Amaranthine Museum was an extraordinary space for this work, and Liz's guidance took us into a deep and powerful place where I was able to find both physical and emotional strength, as well as a feeling of inner peace and release from the pain that I had been holding. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.
Yesterday I experienced my first breath-work healing sound bath. I went in with no expectations. I am still trying to find the precise words to explain my experience: Intense, tingly, movement, stillness, emotional, trippy? I felt connected to my spirit which can sometimes be hard because of all of the rush, story, craziness that goes on in our day to day lives. Doing this was a true gift of self-love to myself. Liz thank you for bringing this to Baltimore.

Our body is a living library of our past emotions and memories. When we experience something traumatic, our brain is often unable to process all the emotions and instead stores the energy in our body until it can become released. These unprocessed emotions can wreak all sorts of havoc on us, ranging from anxiety and depression to manifesting as physical ailments. Baltimore Breathwork is a method of energy healing and coaching that helps to release old emotions and memories. You could find yourself crying, trembling, shaking, or even laughing. This is your body’s way of processing and letting go of old energies that it doesn’t need anymore. Yes, breathwork is very powerful, but most of the healing is done on a subconscious level while we have fun and relax in class. Yes, healing is work--but we can laugh too. Laughter is the best medicine after all.
